PlayNames was founded in 2002 by Joseph and Nancy Dwyer. Inspired by their love of children (including their own children Patrick, Collin and Thomas), and their previous success in building technology companies, they decided to create PlayNames.
Nancy Henson Dwyer
Nancy's entertainment career began at the age of 2 when she began competing in fiddle contests in her native state of Texas. By the age of 5 she won the International Fiddling Contest 18 and under age bracket! It's no wonder with a master fiddler for a father, and a grandfather who was the first person inducted in the Texas Fiddling Hall of Fame. Nancy has been a featured vocalist and musician with platinum recording artists such as Charley Pride and Ray Stevens. Nancy writes and produces PlayNames' music products.
Patrick, Collin & Thomas Dwyer are expert product evaluators, having listened to our music for their entire lives. They enjoy singing and dancing along. Most of all, they enjoy hearing their own names in every song! |
